sources and safety issues surrounding methane gas in
landfills has given rise to the development of a variety
of collection systems. Many systems use a network of
pipes, blower systems and pumps to safely divert the
gas into storage lagoons and ultimately treatment faculties;
other systems convert the gas into usable power on-site
